Born in 1978, lives in Berlin and Weimar.
Laura Frahm is research associate at the International Research Institute for Cultural Technologies and Media Philosophy at
Bauhaus-University Weimar. PhD in 2008 at Humboldt-University Berlin. From 2005 to 2007 she was awarded for the
Transatlantic Doctoral Programme Berlin/New York "History and Culture in 20th Century’s Metropole" and continued her
PhD project on topologic concepts of space in 20th century’s movies on the metropolis. In autumn 2006 and spring 2007
she was visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York after having graduated in Theatre-, Film-, and Telecast Sciences,
Art History and Spanish in Cologne and Málaga from 1998 to 2004.
